Hi, I'm Shakira! I'm a beautiful, blue-eyed husky girl. I'm going to tell you my back story - not because I want you to feel sorry for me but you need to understand where I came from! I was caught up in a domestic violence situation and my owner reached out to find a safe place for me and my puppies. Taysia Blue worked really hard to find assistance to bring my puppies and me to Arkansas. 4 hours before our scheduled flight one of my puppies died and then another. Instead of our freedom flight we were rushed to an ER in Texas and within 24 hours all of my puppies were gone. Their hearts were too small for their bodies. I finally got the all clear to travel and made it to Arkansas on a bus with 35 other dogs.

I've been very shut down and depressed which you can probably understand. I have spent a lot of time hiding in my crate. I am currently recovering from some lingering medical issues (pyometra and mastitis) and I'm just getting over the lethargy.
