Howdy, y’all! My name is Montana, and my heart is about as huge as the big, blue Midwestern sky. And that’s a good thing, since my foster mom says I’m pretty dang easy to fall in love with. I might be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you...well, you’d better be ready for some snuggles! My foster mom says I love people, especially older kids. I also love to be showered with attention, especially when that means getting scratched behind the ears. I’m pretty happy to earn that attention, too: I already know commands like “sit,” “down,” and “shake.” I’m pretty smart, if I do say so myself! 

While I’m happy to snuggle with you all day long, I’m a pretty big fan of walks, too. I don't mind missing a few days here and there, but I would love a family who can take me out and about with them pretty often. I can’t help it--I just love exploring the wild blue yonder. My foster mom thinks I’d be a great companion for people who like to go on short hikes, too. But don’t worry: I’m really easy-going, so you won’t have to worry about me fitting into your lifestyle.
