Ya like jazz?? Me too! In fact, that's what they call me! I've got chill vibes, a sweet personality, and a great singing voice. I will help you get your day started with a morning howl to let you know I'd like to go outside! I'm a little nervous and shy, but I LOVE attention and I love to snuggle. I am what they call a picky snuggler - as in you MUST be petting me. I have no personal space so if you call me over, expect me to flop down on top of you like a rag doll and stay there forever as long as you are petting me. Once you stop though, I'm out. I'll go snooze on the floor or the opposite end of the couch. I'm here for the snuggles, ya know! I love snuggles and pets from kids too. I'm super gentle with littles and I'm not a jumper. If you're a kitchen counter though, beware! I'm a counter surfer. My foster family was making cookies recently and left some sticks of butter out. Yes, I ate a whole stick, wrapper and all! You see, I do love food. I will talk to you very loudly if you have it and are not sharing. I will also yell while waiting for my morning food bowl service. As you might have guessed, I'm very treat-motivated! I already know how to sit and shake and I'm especially good at these if there's treats involved.

To make up for those extra stolen calories, I love to take walks! I'm a great walker - I don't pull much and I'm not reactive to other dogs or small animals we come across. I get along great with other dogs. I would love a home with one or more of them, they bring me comfort and help me feel less nervous. I'm still figuring out the whole play thing, but I'm enjoying it and playing more and more every day. I even bark and howl at the old lady dog here to try and get her to play, but for some reason it just annoys her! I don't resource guard, and I take cues from dogs really well.

If I'm bored I might seek out inappropriate things to chew on, so I should be in my crate when you're gone. I don't love the crate but I'll go in there for treats. I don't mind being in there while you are gone. If I know you're home, I'll paw the door in an attempt to break free! I do not like to sleep there at night ... I prefer to curl up on the couch and this has worked out well so far.
