Hi, folks.  I'm Janis Joplin, but most everyone calls me J.J.  I'm a pretty timid girl, shy at first with new people, but I warm up pretty quickly.  Bones, walks, and cuddles are my favorite things in the whole wide world.  I'm no Cry Baby.  I'm a Woman Left Lonely, looking for a home with no other furries or kiddos that is looking to give me all of the love and attention they can.  I get the Turtle Blues when other dogs are around - it's scary for me, and I wish I had a shell to hide in!  My hoomans are the best and I adore being around them.  I'm a good girl - I know sit and shake and am already kennel- and house-trained.  As Good As You've Been to This World, though, sometimes you just need a fresh start, and that's what I'm looking for.  Raise Your Hand if you want to adopt me, J.J.  Then fill out an application - Get It While You Can, and Maybe I can give this Piece of My Heart to you.
