2 huskies LOST since November 22nd near Dubuque, IA
B oth of the dogs are microchipped - the family has put posters up all over, but huskies can run great distances and could be further than the reach of the local animal control. .
Message from the owner and contact information below:
Yukon Jack and Riley broke a hole in our stockade fence after a possum (they got him) and ran off together.
Yukon "Jack" is a 2 1/2 year old black and white with blue eyes neutered male purebred Homeagain microchipped #4A351D0A0F he weighed 57# he is a talker!
Riley is a 3 1/2 year old spayed female husky-healer mix with brown eyes. She is white with dark brown spots lining the back edge of her ears & faint brown spots on ears and back.
She has no tail--not sure why, we adopted her as an adult. She is 24 pet watch chipped #OA106B225 her weight is 44# she is very quiet-hardly ever barks.
Both are very people friendly, love to go for car rides, know many tricks, and are house pets--they spend their nights sleeping beside our bed. The only problem we have ever had with them is that Jack is an excavator!
My family misses them so much and are so worried that there is not a word of any sighting.
We felt sure they would have come home by now and worry that someone has them.
I check daily with the Humane Shelter & animal control, the answer always being the same--Sorry No!
Please help us in any way you can! Thank You,
Betty, Tom, & Alex Faulkner
